Easel Card Challenge at Winter Wonderland

Good morning,

here's my card for this weeks Easel challenge over at Winter wonderland

I've used a Sugar Nellie image, paper pieced her skirt and coloured the rest of her with my promarkers.

I've made my own gem pins and some designer paper from Papermania capsule collection.

you can just about see the ribbon and buckle I've added

and here's the card from the side

I've not added a sentiment yet but think it'll be a Valentines card.

Birthday Wishes Challenge at Winter Wonderland

Hello, quick post for this weeks challenge at Winter Wonderland which is Birthday Wishes

This card I made for the niece of a workmate.

I've used a few digi images on this card; Winnie from Saturated Canary , though she generally comes with the cutest wee caravan, I cut that out for this card. I've also used a bag and shoes, though i'm not 100% about where they came from and a Vanity with mirror and rug from someone i met on CDAC (which i'll add later.

I've coloured these images with my promarkers, layered them onto some designer dotty pink paper

and finished with some sparkly gems.

Little Miss Muffett Anything Goes Challenge

Good evening, here we are on the 2nd of January and I'm already posting my second challenge entry :-)

so this one is with a fab freeby image from Little Miss Muffett

she's called Saffron and the information on how to get her is here

It's my neighbours daughter's 8th birthday today and I thought the Saffron image was perfect to use for her birthday card. I printed off two images so I could use another on a matching gift bag.
I coloured Saffron with my promarkers and then layered her with some papers I originally got free in a magazine last year with some lilac card as a matt. Topped this with a die cut felt flower with a Craftwork Cards candi centre. The sentiment on the card was made using peel offs and the sentiment on the gift bag was stamped and finished with a purple felt flower.
I also used some lilac gingham ribbon and the cutest little pearl effect buckle from Mei Flower

The challenge at Little Miss Muffett is anything goes and finishes tomorrow.

Happy New Year and WW Challenge

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

well it's been a while since I've posted and I'd like to share not only my first card of the year

but also one of my New Year's Resolutions

to join in more challenges!

so here's my first challenge card and as you can see I've already made

a start on my Christmas Cards for Christmas 2012!

I'd like to enter this card into the challenge at Winter Wonderland -

Winter wonderland Challenge - Red & White

I've used Holly Fairy from MiC and coloured her using my promarkers.

I've layered her onto a die cut with embossed holly I got in a pack last year from Craftwork Cards, then onto a die cut label using my Spellbinders and bug. I think my papers are from a Docrafts pack, and finished with a "Happy Christmas" sentiment again from Craftwork cards and some die cut holly leaves with red adhesive gems.

November Challenge at Ellephantastic!

Good evening folks,

The Ellephantastic challenge for November went live yesterday, sorry I'm not posting till tonight,

I was at work early yesterday and then so tired i was in my bed for 9... :-(

so here's my card

I've used the freebie for this month from Ellephantastic - Roger in his wellies

I printed him out twice and printed out another cut down copy of his scarf,

I then coloured them with promarkers and layered them together with foam pads.

The theme for this months challenge is weather related.

Now when I was preparing my card for this months challenge I had another image in mind to use,

I had her coloured up and used a fancy die to cut her out, then this happened....

my beautiful 2 and a 1/2 year old daughter decided my image needed a trim and some glitter...:-(

that's what i get for having the glitter, flower soft and embossing powder in a drawer at accessible height for a toddler, she must have thought my desk and the carpet under it looked a bit boring too as she emptied all but one of my embossing powders and a few tubs of glitter all over them... :-(

The drawer has now been moved... and the scissors... :-(

Recipe Challenge at Ellephantastic

Good evening folks!

sorry I'm a bit late with my post I've been at work all day... :-( booo

and on national cardmaking day too, how inconsiderate!

Now let me tell you about this months challenge over at Ellephantastic!

It's my turn to host this month and I chose a recipe to follow,

I thought as it's Halloween at the end of the month to use Purple and Green in the recipe along with the following:

I've made a wee hanging for my daughters room

I've used Roger The Mummy available here

I coloured him with promarkers. I made wee spiders with liquid pearl bodies and i drew

the wee skull.

If you have a look at the other girls DT creations you'll see your creation doesn't have to be Halloween inspired, you just need to follow the recipe!

Make it Colourful Challenge – Colour with Pink!

Good evening and here's my last challenge entry for the evening! This time it's for Make it Colourful

I was lucky enough to be chosen as the MiC winner for using a MiC image last week and got to choose 2 images as my prize. One of which is the beautiful Ivy Swing Digi Stamp

I added Sitting Jane and the "A little birdie told me" sentiment using word and then coloured the images and the ribbon with my promarkers.

I printed the ticket and birthday sentiment out, matted and layered the image and DP onto red card and finished with some handmade charms, made from hatpins with added beads and some pretty pink roses.

I'd already put my card in its protective bag when I remembered I hadn't taken my photo,

Whimsy have a new Challenge Blog over here... their first challenge is Ribbon & Bows and you've to use a whimsy stamp. So here's my card

I've used the Sweet Wedding Cake designed by MelJen on the Whimsy site, I coloured it using my promarkers. I've embossed the card using my cuttlebug, used some sentiments from Lili of The Valley and edged with some satin ribbon topped with some grosgrain ribbon and finished with a wee bow topped with a heart gem.

Make It Colourful Challenge - Challenge #28 – Colouring Dark Skin

Just a quick post to share my entry for this weeks Make it Colourful Challenge. I've had a bit of a busy old week, I've got an order for some wedding invites which i'm working on and I worked a night shift on Tuesday which was kinda weird, I felt fine till about 6am then I just felt a bit sick, like i was hungover... don't think I'll do that again in a hurry, especially as I seemed to lose three days to it in the end cos I still feel knackered today...

Anyhow here's my piccie

The challenge was to colour dark skin

I've used Elizabeth J from Make it Crafty and coloured her with my promarkers

I need to work on my hair and my folds but i'm pretty chuffed with her, she is a gorgeous image to colour. I've even given her some fishnets :-)

I embossed the black card with my bug and my cogs folder, topped this with some shiny striped black card. I've then cute a circle from purple card with a lacy edge and added some black lace to the top, to finish off I've used a wee sentiment from Craftwork cards.

This is Fifi from Make it Crafty - I've coloured her with my promarkers and have been playing around with the blender pen and some greys for shading.

Make It Crafty Celebration challenges - part 1 & 2

So to celebrate Make it Crafty's first birthday, Zoe has arranged for a bumper challenge to take place all month. I've already entered part 5 - see this post here...

The first image i got from Make It Crafty was the Open Window and as soon as I saw these challenges I thought I'd like to use that as my main image with lots of other images behind it as if you're looking through the window.... for the challenge details see here - Make It Crafty Celebration challenges - part 1 & 2

so here is my wall hanging

As I was putting this together i realised that this window is from the outside because of the flowers and position of the curtains, but I liked my idea and decided to carry on regardless... :-)

So the challenges are

"Merge as many Make it Crafty images into one scene" & "Most creative combination of Make it Crafty images"

Here's a close up of the view through the window so you can see how many images I've merged...

Here you can see the following images all from MiC - Summer Dreams, Steampunk Treehouse, Fairy Treehouse, Mushroom House, on top of the hill we have Haunted Halloween House, the hills and rainbow are from a freebie set called Rainbow Land Set and in the centre (just behind Summer Dreams) is Zoe Celebrates.

and the final image is my new favourite to colour... well until payday when i can buy some of her gorgeous new releases....

This is Fifi

I merged my images using word, then printed a separate image of the window, Fifi and Summer Dreams so I could layer them up with a bit of dimension. I then coloured it all with my promarkers, unfortunately, three of my favourite browns ran out as did my pastel blue.... :-( roll on payday to get some more... :-)

Make it Colourful Challenge - Reflections in water

A really quick post to share a piccie of my entry for last weeks Make It Colourful challenge.

I've put together a scene using some seaweed from MelJen, Make It Crafty's Siren of Pearls, and the wee island from birds cards.

I used word to put this scene together.

I've coloured my image with promarkers and I'm sad to say my pastel blue is running out... I'm also not 100% on the colouring but i love how the scene has turned out so thought i'd share anyway.

Delightful Inspiration Challenge

Good morning!

I've a few cards to share today, the first is for this weeks Delightful Inspiration challenge.

I've used the freebie fence image, a Make it Crafty image, which i won last week, the sentiment fence post which i made myself and the card blank which i inked up and made cloud shapes with a mask.

I coloured all my images with my promarkers and added a couple of purple flowers to the fence image.

Next up is a prize :-)

This is a fantastic prize i won from a Lets make Cards prize draw. There are 3 sizes and in 5 colours. I've used the smallest boxes to store my promarkers. - please ignore the large heap of ironing in the background, I'm pretending it's not there..... la la la.

Good morning and happy Wednesday!

Just a very simple one, I've coloured the image with promarkers, cut it with my nestie die and added a sentiment form a fab rub on sheet with some cute little ladybird images and bees...

New Ronnie Painting Digital Fundraising Image

Good morning I have a couple of posts for you today, again I'm like a bus, no posts for ages and then two at once.... Anyhow this first post is about some fab digi images over at Crafty Emma's Store.

The digital images are sold to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of Emma's Dad who was tragically killed at work in September 2009.

Helen from Ellephantastic has created a fab new image for Emma to sell, he's called Ronnie Painting and he's available here at Crafty Emma's Store.

I think i might be scraping in by the skin of my teeth with this

I've used my newest Sugar Nellie image,

that arrived yesterday and added a few wee roses and a lovely bow

Here's my card for this weeks Delightful Inspiration Challenge

I printed out two images so I could emboss the vase.

I actually used a christmas tree embossing folder to add this pattern to the vase and I coloured the gorgeous

daffy's with my promarkers.

Here's my last birthday pressie that was delivered yesterday

I spent yesterday afternoon cutting these out and mounting them on some foam so once

I drop Becky at nursery this afternoon I'll get to ink them up and have a play!

Good morning!

I'll apologise in advance as I expect this will be a rather long post

as It was my birthday on monday and I'd like to share the piccies

of all the fabulous RAKS i received and the crafty goodies i bought.

First up though, following on from the scary scrap pic's from last week

My work had a charity fun weekend last week and I donated 35 cards to be sold for the charity

here is a piccie of the cards I made using some of my scraps and images I'd already coloured or stickers/peeloffs I've had forever.

I was really chuffed I didn't cut into any new papers.

and couldn't resist some cute papers, just a wee pack though... and the freebie from

the DoCrafts mag.

and lastly my shiny new shoes! I bought these with my birthday money too :-)

They're soooo comfy! and I love the stars.

Delightful Inspiration Challenge

Here's my card for this weeks Delightful Inspiration Challenge

this is the first digital image I've paper pieced and it did take a bit of practice to get the paper into the printer

the right way around but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Here's another view

I've added a sun and a cloud to the image and made a wee thank you card for my aunt.

It's my hubby and I's 3rd wedding anniversary today and I'm really chuffed that

hubby decided to make me a card!

He raided my stash for the hearts, love and brads, printed out

the Happy Anniversary and Beautiful Wife and even borrowed our daughters heart stamp

that she got with last months CBeebies mag.

He's even recycled an old belt to add leather as that's the modern gift for the 3rd anniversary.

I was so touched that he made this himself and very proud!

Love you hubby!

Good morning!

Just a quick post as I've loads to do today

and I'll be back later to share a wee experiment in digital paper piecing.

so lets get straight down to business

Now at first glance this looks quite scary but I've been busy organising my scrap drawers.

When I started this I thought I only had 2 but it turns out I had 4 drawers and 2 bags full of scraps. So I've sorted them as follows:

one box of white/cream paper and card to stamp onto,

a drawer of large scraps that can be cut for scrapping pages or cards,

The pile at the back of the above picture is for cutting for matting and layering

the box at the front of the picture is for die cutting.

and here's my beautiful well loved cuttlebug with the poorly broken but still usable C plate

and a wee box of nesties and dies.

and here is my desk drawer here I've divided it up with cheap baskets from

Wilkinson's so I have bottom left - flowers and butterflies

top left assorted labels

top right paper/card for matting and layering

bottom right - frames

I've also cut some butterfly, animal shapes and letters into smaller boxes, I might not end up using these myself but give them to m daughter to make piccies from but at least i've emptied 4 drawers. I did put some in the bin too but not too much.

Now I'm off to have a quick wander through some of the fab WOYWW desks

and various other work area's. If you want to know what this is all about pop over to

It's a fab card shape and pretty easy to do, Clare's tutorial is easy to follow and you

could make fab cards just like the rest of the Ellephantastic DT have.

This is my card, I've used some papers and Candi from a bargain £5

pack I got at Christmas from Craftwork cards in my favourite colours purple and lilac.

Ellephantastic Challenge - february

I completely forgot to post my card from this month's Ellephantastic Challenge

The theme is Distressing with a Love Theme and you can see all the details

over at the Ellephantastic Challenge Blog here.

I used Roger with heart and coloured him with my promarkers

I've used some paper from my stash cut using my nesties. I've used some ribbon and lace from my stash.

Some paper flowers I got in the sale at Hobbycraft, homemade charm pin, heart pin and a wee heart charm.

I also cut some flower shapes from the same paper as the die cut and added a wee pearl to the centre.

The card itself is already preprinted with some gold script and borders and I think

this was from a Christmas card kit but I thought suited this style.

I attached the heart using some folded up paper

to act like a spring

Good morning

and it's Wednesday again... :-( how on earth did that happen :-)

Pop over to Julia's for the best crafty blogs to hop through today and each Wednesday.

Now onto business I'll try to be quick today.

I'm not at my crafty desk yet. My piccie to share today

is of a wee project I've been doing over the last week or so to organise all my images. So when I'm creating a card or project I can see all the images I have without having to trawl through loads of files on my pc,

I've started by sorting all my digi images into categories on my pc,

for example Animals with sub-categories of Bears, Cats Dogs etc.

or Christmas with sub-categories of People, decorations etc.

(there's lots more but I'd be here all day listing so moving on....

Next up I copied the images into word and resized them to fit as many onto each page but

still seeing the pictures. I added the name of the artist or site I got the images from

and if supplied, the name of the image. Then I printed each one out and added these to a folder

which is this piccie here

A lot of the images I have in my collection are freebies from various different sites, for which I'm very grateful. A few others have been prizes from different blog hops or card challenges again for which I'm very grateful.

I've noticed recently, in fact just over this past week, of two of my favourite sites, Sugar Nellie and The Greeting Farm having problems with people stealing their images and I think this is very sad.

There is a blog set up by Mo Manning to support Artists in respect to Stamp Theft for all the details and to get the Stamp Out Stamp Thieves Badge to display on your blog then go here.

Ok back to my image folder, next I plan to do some text prints of all the different fonts I have, as I've gotten some great ones for free from kevinandamanda.com.

Now talking of freebies there is a cute valentine themed fairy over at Make It Crafty till the 14th and just in case you manage to miss Spyder's post on the great WOYWW hop, you have to check out the very cute image she is very kindly sharing.

I can't believe it february already, where on earth did January run away to?

So it's Wednesday again and time to share my desk

It's not as scary as it seems..... honest :-)

The pile up on the left is a bunch of invitations, some papers waiting to be put away and some cards

waiting to be turned into invitations for another wedding.

and at the front I'm making the most out of my scrap papers and cutting some alphabets out ready for

use whenever i need them.

I'm not at work again till sunday and baby free today so I have a huge list to run through

as long as I get the invites done I'll be happy.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 52–Marie Therese’s Sketch

Good evening,

I have a card to share for my entry into the challenge this week over at

Now yesterday was pay day for my hubbie and it's been a long while since Decembers pay day

so as I've been drooling over some of the gorgeous new stamps at Funky kits I decided

to have a wee shop, I could have went mad with the gorgeous Leanne Ellis and Simply Sassy's, but i was very well behaved and order one Leane Ellis and one from the sale - Winter Nellie. As I said I ordered these yesterday afternoon and how fantastically brilliant is this for service, they were delivered this morning!

This image is "To Remember" and I think it's beautiful

Here's a wee close up,

I've coloured her with my promarkers and added some details to the dress

with a gel pen. I've also added some glossy accents to the flowers on the image.

Here's a wee close up of my flowers, heart charm and gorgeous feathers,

which i aquired from my daughters crafting box :-)

I added a bit of glamour dust to the roses, though i don't think

I should have now...

Good afternoon and Happy WOYWW!

Here's my desk

Maybe just a wee bit of pushing back but i have been kinda busy.

I'm in the process of doing two orders of Wedding Invitations,

one a gift for a friend another to help out another friend.

That's one lot you can see on the left hand side, balancing on the bug...

You can also see a wee purple roger waiting for a home, I coloured him up ages ago and he

keeps popping back onto the desk in the hope of nice card to settle into....

Here's the drawers to my side with my paper trimmer and score board

My trimmer cost £8 from wilko's which is pretty fab but it doesn't leave a perfect cut, I have to tidy them

up with my scissors or blade, so I'm on the lookout for a new paper trimmer.

If you use one which is fab leave me a wee comment to let me know which you use. There's quite a few to choose from and I'd like to get a decent one.

Some Christmas Cards

Here we have 2 Christmas cards for some Challenges over at Bah Humbug and Winter Wonderland

The Theme at Bah Humbug is Using Stencils when i first thought of this challenge

I thought oh I can't take part in this one as I don't have any stencils

but after a wee search through all my crafty goodies

I found some dry embossing stencils so here is my card using the present stencil

(that I'm sure i either got free or part of a goodie bag)

Now you can't see the stenciled image too good here so i took another picture

but the light is kinda dull this morning so it's not too great either.

At least you can see the stencilling:-) The papers are from the Do Crafts goody bag which i think was from October. The ribbon is recycled as it's from some gift packaging and the

pearls and peel offs are from my stash.

Now this is card is for Winter Wonderland who's theme is Paw's for Thought

This cute wee image is a fab freebie from the stamp fairy and has been coloured

with my promarkers.

the brad, red fabric mat and peel off's are from my stash. The ribbon and green

striped paper are from the October Docrafts goody bag, i think they're from Papermania.

Straight to business this week

what can we see.... on the left a pile of cards/sample invitations, next to that some images waiting to be coloured, top left i have my nesties and behind that a wee gorjuss card. At the front right I have some coloured images waiting to be added to cards and hiding in the back corner is another wee gorjuss card that a friend made for our Christmas, this is here to remind me to buy a frame so I can put it up in my daughters room along with two I've already put up.

Along the back of the table I have jewellery/wire tools, pencils, assorted scissors, a jar of Sun, moon stars perfume that I've had forever but love the bottle and jars of flowers and other embellies.

Think that everything...

oh and this fab wee bundle was delivered by the postie this morning

gorgeous ribbons and a fab wee stamp that I won from

WOYWW - new office

Good morning!

I'm going to try not say too much as I have a few photo's to share; I share my craft room with my hubby he uses his side for his pc's... since our daughter getting bigger we wanted her to have space in it too so we've done

some reorganising and hey you know what we found.... some carpet! and room to even run about a wee bit! hurray. So lets get on and see the piccies...

My desk has been moved to beneath one of the windows which of course

I'm using the sill for stroage... This is it really tidy btw... :-) I have lots of glass jars full of brushes and pens

which make it look really cluttered...

in the middle at the front i have last years calender which i'm taking apart to use the card from cos its cute. on the right I have bits and bobs waiting to be put on a card and on the left i have some valentines papers and hearts.

my wee inspiration wall with the blue painting which is my very clever daughter artwork :-)

my sewing desk and shelves full of crafty stuff on the left and pc games and software on the right.

On the window sill is crafty mags and books for more inspriation, below that is trays of cardstock and papers

and on the floor is my daughters art desk

a while ago I shared a pic of this page before I'd put it all together so here's the finished article I'm pretty

chuffed with how it turned out

a faw wee early birthday RAK received from one of the girls on a crafty blog i used to take part in.

I got these fab decorations and card from fellow WOYWWer Carola Bartz as I've missed

putting them on our tree for the past christmas I

thought i'd put them up in Becky's room a gorgeous wee angel

to look after her while she's asleep.

Good morning! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend?

I've been making the most of my daughter being at nursery for a full day and a half and made a bunch of cards

So i best get on and show them all off.

Delightful Inspiration - Image provided

& Stamp Something - use a digi image

Faith has provided this cute wee sheep with a loveheart for this weeks challenge at

Delightful Inspiration

I've embossed the card blank using the hearts embossing folder from cuttlebug.

and here's a wee close up of the sheep. I've coloured him with promarkers

not that you can see that very well.... and added some glossy accents and some red seed beads.

Next up is one of the thank you cards/calendars I've made

I've made an easel card, topped it with red cardstock from my stash

added a handwritted sentiment a wee white flower from stash and a calendar pad.

I've used some scrap christmas paper i got from the DoCrafts Goody bag last year cut into inch squares

and matted it onto some blue card from stash as with the photo. The thankyou is from stash foam letters.

I hope this still counts for the Jingle Belles challenge even though it's not a christmas card but a new year card/thank you card/calendar.

Happy New Year & a New Monthly Challenge at Ellephantastic!

A wee hint of my challenge card for this month!

I hope Everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great Hogmanay!

Unfortunately we didn't we were all poorly at one point or another however the last two days have made

up for the everything, we've been at a fab birthday party and my mummy visited today!

So this month marks lots of new things to celebrate over at Ellephantastic

I've used used Robyn's Fetish stamp choo choo

and coloured it with Promarkers

I used some papers from stash, the sentiment is peel off's from my stash

added to some labels cut on my bug.

Sugar Nellie Challenge

Just a quickie....

as you can see I'm on a definite push back or perhaps more like a work on top of...

Here are some Santa images and a Gorjuss girl waiting to go on a card

and here i've got some cute wee snow men I'm making into tags

Good morning! Long time no see :-)

It's been a wee while since I've done a WOYWW post, I've been poorly with the flu :-(

Been working overtime :-( and am back to playing WOW! :-)

I'm going to try and make this a short post so i can get on with sorting out my cards and maybe get the Christmas tree up...

so WOMW well my workdesk today is my couch. I'm matching all my cards to envelopes

I've been making Christmas cards all year, now I need to use them I'm trying to match them all up.

and I wanted to share this wee creature

I've made for one of the ladies at work, I think this is for her niece.

I struggled a wee bit with the eyes, but she likes it.

Good evening,

Here's my project for this week's

Ellephantastic Challenge

I've used Elle and coloured her with my promarkers

I cut two copies out with my largest label die and

two matching shapes from some pretty christmas papers

I glued them all together and added some string to the middle

with a cute wee snowflake charm

I'd like to enter this into the Winter Wonderland Challenge this week

I've coloured the image with Promarkers

and added a bit of sparkle with

my glue pen and angel dust.

I matted onto some embossed card

and finished with some ribbon

Good morning!

Here's my creation for this week's challenge at Delightful Inspiration

I've printed out 3 copies of the beautiful poinsettia, coloured them with my promarkers

cute them out and layered them up with foam squares.

To finish it off I covered the petals and leaves with Glossy Accents and added a ribbon

so I can hang it from the tree (which doesn't go up till this Saturday)

and here's a view from the side

so you can see the layers.

I'm working extra to make up for when i couldn't make it in due to the snow.. :-(

which is awful timing as not only do i have my beautiful daughter to play with, all the crafting to do, wrapping pressies World Of Warcraft's Cataclysm came out this week....for those that don't know

this is an online PC game where you can be a Nightelf, Dwarf or in this new addon a Worgen which is fab, these are Werewolves.... Ok I'll stop being geeky now

Delightful Inspiration Challenge

Here's my card for this weeks challenge

how cute is this little mug of hot choccie!

I've used some Craftwork Cards papers I received free with a magazine, some green card from my stash

I've cut this out using my label nesties and hand wrote the wee message using my white pen.

I coloured my image with promarkers

Here's the inside with some more Craftwork Cards papers, I left it open at the top

so I could add a wee treat.

I coloured up another mug image and attached it to a fruit teabag using ribbon and a brad from my stash.

Here you can see it a little better.

I really liked these papers as I think the purple and lime green works fab together.

Happy St. Andrews Day & Ellephantastic challenge #20

Good Morning and
Happy St Andrew's Day!

I've been feeling pretty rubbish for the last week, I'm still not 100% but much better than last week. So I'm back to work tonight, well so far I am, if the snow continues the way it is that may be a different story.

Sorry for the delay in posting this but challenge #20 is up on the Ellephantastic Cards & Crafts Challenge Blog, the challenge lasts 2 weeks, there are 2 themes and 2 sponsors so there will be 2 winners! How excellent is that? You can see all the details here.

Lets have a wee look at my project

The themes this week are
Red & Green and/or St Andrew's Day

I've made a wee St Andrew's Menu for tonight,
though as I'm working I'll be doing this at the weekend instead.
I've used Roger who's a freebie, he's available here:
and Rosie. I've given them both a pretty kilt and coloured them with promarkers.
I printed out the title and menu from the pc.

for those of you who don't know, neeps are mashed turnip, though generally in Scotland Swede is actually known as turnip, this is peeled and boiled then mashed with black pepper and butter and one of my favourite vegs. My papa used to put oatmeal/porridge oats in with the neeps too. And Cranachan is a rather tasty dessert with raspberries, cream, honey and whisky! mmmmm.

I'd like to enter my wee menu into the following challenge:

Delightful Inspiration Challenge

Here's my card for this week's Delightful Inspiration Challenge

How cute is this little fella!

I coloured him with my promarkers and cut out the image using my label die.

I didn't want to miss the swirl on the ice or faith's signature so instead of letting the die cut all the way through

i put it through almost to the end then popped it out and put the die on the other side of the image.

I think the shape has turned out ok...

The sentiment has been printed from my pc and I've just added some blue card as a mat.

Sorry it's not very exciting this week... I'm getting over the flu and still feel pretty lousy...

The SugarBowl - Challenge 48 – Marlene’s Sketch

Here's my entry for Challenge 48 over at the Sugar Bowl

I've used Sporty Manga and coloured him with Promarkers

I ran the blue card through my bug with the happy birthday embossing folder, leaving a panel

at the right hand side for my boy to sit on.

I've used some papers from my stash and layered them onto blue card.

Added some peel offs for my sentiment and finished with a "4" and some craft candy.

Here's a close up of Sporty Manga

I have coloured his face, arms and legs but it's difficult to see in my photo's

perhaps I need to add some more colour for next time...

I've been really ill over the weekend and am now suffering from a cold...

which sounds a bit pathetic, my nose is red raw you could nickname me Rudolph...

Ellephantastic Challenge 19 - Christmas and/or Butterfly

Good afternoon, I started writing this post earlier this morning but forgot to post it, so here we go...

The challenges at Ellephantastic have changed slightly as they now last for two weeks,

so that's more time for everyone to get their wonderful creations

in and there's two prizes on offer which means two lucky winners!

Here's my projects for this week

My neighbour recently got engaged so I thought I'd decorate a bottle of sparkly

as a gift and made a card to match.

I've used Aqua and Heather papers from the Papermania Capsule Collections

and some ribbon from my stash.

Here's a wee close up of the main panel and the wee butterflies have been cut

using my Martha Stewart punch.

This pretty butterfly was part of the latest bargain bag. I added some little lilac gems form my stash.

WOYWW & Bee Crafty - Challenge 42

So I'll try this again, not having much luck with posting this morning, I've typed this all up only to get an error message from Blogger... :-( so now I have to start again...

On my desk this week we have lot's of papers and bit's as I'm trying to put together my first scrap page. A month or so ago, as I was hanging out the washing Becky decided to climb her slide all by herself , so I took a few pictures of her next go and thought they'd make a great scrapbook page, not that I've ever done any scrapping before but we'll see how it goes.

and on my wee extra desk I have two wee Christmas Decorations that I've been working on,
I've been having a play with the label dies and some stamped images. I've used a Gorjuss image on one and a
Bee Crafty image on the other. There's more pictures of the second one further down as I'm entering it
into a challenge.

The image's aren't specifically for Christmas so I coloured them

in Christmassy Red and Green and coloured her hands in to give her gloves.

and finished it off with a wee snowflake charm.

Morning! and it seems to be a bit of a nice day... so far...

I'm planning on hanging my washing out, so it'll be chucking it down with rain in around an hour I'm sure!

Anyhow here's my desk this morning

So what can we see... My lovely new label dies from Spellbinders, Some Anya images stamped out for me to colour... Some Gorjuss Girls and Ian (Greeting Farm) stamps waiting for cleaning and loads of jars full of stuff... :-) I have ribbons, flowers, dew drops, my wire tools, pencils and the wee round tub is my rubbish pot.

My hubby bought me this a wee while ago, but it's not really my thing, so I thought I'd sell it on to someone who'd use it!

This fab workstation comes with an double ended embossing tool, metal ruler and 4 cutting blades and embossing plate you can see here with square, oval, circle and rectangle.

This item has been used only a couple of times.

The Craft Room sells for £39.99 I'm just looking for £20 plus postage.

Ellephantastic Challenge #18

So I'm a few days late with my Ellephantastic Card this week

I'll get straight to the point:

Here's my card, I've used Rory & Charlotte Nativity, one of Helen's "Keep it in the Family" range

available here

I printed the image out twice, to lift it a wee bit and coloured it with my promarkers.

I used some papers from Last Christmas's range and finished the card with ribbon and flowers from my stash.

I attached the ribbon using double sided tape and lifted the ribbon at intervals to give it a bit of life. I made a gemmed pin and finished the flowers with some blue brads.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

is a sketch

with the optional extra of One for the boys

Here's my card

I've used the Sporty Manga character from Sugar Nellie and some forever friends papers.

I've coloured my image with Promarkers and i sponged the background with ink
The image has been cut using my new spellbinders Labels die, which i love...

and a wee close up of my embellies.. I've used string instead of ribbon and a silver whistle from my stash
I cut the football from the Forever Friends papers and covered it in Rangers Clear Gloss, my new favourite craft item.. :-)

Morning all! Really quick post as I have to be taxi and take Becky to nursery and Daddy to work!
I've been having terrible problems with our internet, very intermittent annoying problems. However as from last night Hubby decided to call Sky who have now fixed it! Hurray. So sorry to those of you who popped by my place last week and left some lovely messages, i'll try to return the favour today.

Here's a rather dull piccie of my beautiful sewing machine...I've been using it, hurray.

and here's what I've been making... sock monkeys these guys don't have any arms yet in fact the black and grey one's head is below him in the basket... :-)

Just a quick post, I've been trying to post this for a wee while, unfortunately I've been having some internet problems.. not sure if it's my provider or not but it appears to be ok for the moment, so I'll be quick in case it disappears again.

I thought i'd share my purchases from last weekend. I went craft shopping in Chesterfield and was kind of

disapointed with the craft shop, there was lots in it, just nothing that I fancied. So I went for a wee nosy in the tightly packed shop across the way, not sure what kind of shop it actually is as it appears to sell a wee bit of everything, they had lots of halloween and fancy dress outfits, then lots of cake decorating, a few paper crafty bits and printed cards and invites. I managed to pick up a few bargains, the lace was about £1.50 for the lot and the wee pruple flowers i thought were very pretty for £2. The shop next to it is a fantastic bead store, I could have spent all day in there. I chose a few flower and leaf beads and some tiny wee dice beads. And I've finally got some label dies! hurray I've wanted these for a while but not used them yet.

You can also see some greeting farm stamps, some images in the process of being paper pieced and in the middle some new glamour dust, I've not tried this yet either.

I'm off to make up a card for work, and if the internet is still ok after work tonight then I'll pop around and visit some lovely WOYWWers. If you want to know what this is all about pop over to Julia's here:

I've chosen to create a door hanging to hang on my door on Halloween waiting for guisers :-)

Ok so that picture is a wee bit far away, but i thought it looked good on my door :-)

I've coloured the image with promarkers, the background has been embossed with

my cuttlebug spider web embossing folder, the black card stock with the silver skulls is from my Rock Star stack and I've used coloured card, brads, ribbon and gem from stock.

I've recycled my old earring as a charm, (the skulls on chain) and even made a wee purple spider

for the web from a gem.

So I had a bit of a play with this week's image and created some lilac background paper, I also printed out a copy in black to colour in with my promarkers.

And here's my card

I've used some Red and Purple vellum, some gold and peach coredinations card and a sheet of DP I received in a RAK. The image is Gorjuss Foxy and she's been paperpieced with teh card and DP and coloured with Promarkers. I finished the card off with some wee red and orange leaf charms.

These aren't really my colours, I've tried to choose autumny colours.

around the image with bronze and brown inks.
